Terms of Sale

1. ORDERS

A.	These sales policies and conditions apply only to orders placed for specific items and sizes on this website. For all other items, please contact Pelican Paper for details.
B.	Orders subject to acceptance at Pelican Paper's Fort Lauderdale office.
C.	Minimum order is one (1) package on most items.
D.	All orders shipped F.O.B. origin with appropriate freight allowed as defined under number 6 (Freight).
E.	Cancellations / Changes. Every effort will be made to accommodate last minute changes. Once an order is given to a carrier, changes cannot be made.
F.	Returns. Pelican Paper will not accept any returns without prior authorization. Freight for all returned merchandise must be pre-paid. All returns may be subject to a restocking charge. i. No less than full cartons of paper will be accepted. Restocking fee of 20%. ii. For all other merchandise, please contact Customer Service for details.

2. TERMS

A.	Customers must complete the credit application process and be approved to establish credit.
B.	Service charge of 1 1/2% per month may be applied to all open balances exceeding 30 days.

3. TAXES

A.	Prices do not include sales, use, excise or other taxes. Applicable taxes will be charged to all orders unless appropriate tax exemption certificates are on file with the Pelican Paper Corporate Office.

4. WARRANTY

A.	Pelican Paper warrants to the buyer that goods will be produced within normal tolerances and industry standards free of defects in workmanship and material. Pelican Paper further guarantees your complete satisfaction. Defective product will be replaced or credited.
B.	Occasionally, Pelican Paper's vendors may require returns or samples of defective material. In these cases, Pelican paper will arrange for and pay the shipping cost.
C.	In no case will Pelican Paper's liability exceed the actual cost to Pelican Paper's customer for the goods sold plus freight charge incurred for replacement or return.

5. PRICING

A.	Prices are based on the appropriate order, quantity, and bracket structure.
B.	All prices are per the unit noted.
C.	Prices are subject to change without notice.
D.	All charges payable in United States currency.
E.	Pelican Paper is not responsible for typographical errors.

6. FREIGHT (LTL Truck Shipments)

A.	Shipments of paper made to destinations within the 48 contiguous states will be shipped F.O.B. origin and: i. Customer will pay all shipping and handling costs for shipments of less than 1,250 pounds. ii. Pelican Paper will pay shipping and handling costs for shipments of 1,250 pounds or more. Free shipping does not include costs of inside delivery, lift gate service, or other accessorial charges.
B.	Shipments of paper made to destinations outside of the 48 contiguous states will be shipped F.O.B. origin and: i. Customer will pay all shipping and handling costs for shipments of less than 1,250 pounds ii. Pelican Paper will pay shipping and handling costs for shipments of 1,250 pounds or more to port of embarkation designated by Pelican Paper. Customer must provide all specific custom brokerage details.  Customer will pay all shipping and handling costs from port of embarkation to final destination.  Customer will pay all duties, brokerage fees, taxes, etc. direct to their customs agent.
C.	Title to all goods shipped shall pass to the customer (consignee) upon transfer of the bill of lading to the carrier.
D.	Claims. All claims must be initiated by the customer (consignee) and reported to the carrier. Damaged goods must be noted on the freight bill before acceptance of shipment. Pelican Paper will be happy to assist in any claims which may be required.

7. SHIPMENT SCHEDULE

A.	Freight - All orders received before 12:00PM EST will be shipped the same day.  No shipments on Saturday or Sunday.
B.	UPS - All orders received before 2:00PM EST will be shipped the same day.  No shipments on Saturday or Sunday.
C.	FedEx - All orders received before 2:00PM EST will be shipped the same day.  No shipments on Saturday or Sunday.
